The FabriTRAK® Wall System

The System: The FabriTRAK® Wall System is a compilation of unique patented products that provide a method, utilizing fabric as an architectural finish. It is a cost effective tool for creating and enhancing interior environments with form, function, color and texture. The FabriTRAK® System is an on-site installation, engineered to accommodate the architectural and design professional's creativity. The framework is comprised of U.L. fire retardant rigid vinyl locking channels with four different edge profiles. Panels are created per specification - shape, width, and height. The subsurfaces (acoustical, rigid, tackable, nailable, or a combination) are installed within the perimeter of the framework and secured between the fabric and the substrate. Fabric is then stretched over the framework. Patented tools insert the fabric into the locking jaws of the track, leaving a perfectly crisp, smooth finished edge.

Design Advantages: The FabriTRAK® System can be applied over virtually any substrate (sheetrock, plaster, concrete, steel or tile). The system is constructed and installed on-site insuring precise alignment of panels and exacting fit to other architectural details. Since the system is not prefabricated, design changes can be made on site prior to the installation.

The Sound Solution: In today's world, acoustics are playing a more critical part in the design of interior spaces. With FabriTRAK's® diversity, we can meet an Acoustician's or Acoustical Consultant's exacting demands and criteria for a project. This can be accomplished by using any number of available or specified substrate materials to achieve the acoustical balance needed - either reflective or absorptive. Furthermore, because FabriTRAK® is assembled on-site, it may be "fine tuned" to the performance of the room by the Acoustician or Acoustical Consultant. These delicate adjustments help make FabriTRAK® the "Sound Solution" in interior finishes.

Fabric Changeability: Fabric installed with the FabriTRAK® System is readily and economically changeable. This total flexibility offers the following: Should another construction trade accidentally deface a fabric panel, that fabric can simply be replaced, instead of aborting and replacing an entire wall. Another attribute is, if the client desires to rehabilitate their facility at a later time, a totally new environment can be created by selecting new fabric for the redressing process. This change may be done "after hours" so as not to disturb the work area. The FabriTRAK® System framework and subsurface remain in place and there is no damage to the substrate.

Quality Assurance: In contrast to other methods, fabrics are always installed from the face (front) of the panel. This application insures perfect grain alignment vertically and horizontally. All interior companies and products are only as good as the craftsman that installs the product. Upon appointment each FabriTRAK® Dealer is licensed to market, sell and install the FabriTRAK® System. Each Dealer undergoes a product, sales, installation and quality control training program necessary to maintain the Quality Standard and Quality Reputation of the FabriTRAK® System to ensure a first-class installation. Our hallmark continues to be Quality and Service! All of us that make up the global FabriTRAK® family are available and ready to work with you to ensure the highest quality and service possible. We are available and ready to work with you from specification through installation of current and future projects.

Custom is Standard: With the choice of vertical, horizontal, curved, irregular or angular panel configurations which are followed to exacting tolerances. Panels can be designed with reveals of fabric, chrome, laminate, veneer or paint.

Fabrics: The FabriTRAK® System may be installed with a variety of Customer's Own Material (C.O.M.) and is designed to accommodate all fabrics including suitable leathers and silks. Exceptions are translucent fabrics, due to their see-through characteristics. Hydrophilic fabrics containing a high percentage of fibers such as rayon, acetate or spun nylon are not suitable for any vertical wall applications as they absorb moisture and become unstable. All fabrics must be flame retardant in accordance with ASTM E-84 Tunnel Test.
